This view shows the grinding chamber and coolant hood between the spindles. A carousel was configured to hold the work pieces and drive them through the grinder faces. This machine was suited to grind pins, bearings, piston rings, and other parts that must be rapidly ground to a precise thickness. Machine is shown at the Chicago IMTEK Machine Tool Show.
